- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had my daughter in the ER, she has an incurable kidney disease that causes her to produce and pass kidney stones (149) so far. At times the pain gets ahead of her or she gets a larger stone or obstructed stone and she needs the ER for scanning and pain control and fluids. Dr Johnson has seen her for this many times, I have been taking her to SMH for yrs. She was in a kidney stone attack the last time she saw him and he refused to help her thru the pain. He literally stood over her with his arms crossed as she cried and screamed in pain and refused to give her anything to help her with her pain. She has pain meds at home and I am sure this is why he won't help her but he knows sometimes oral meds aren't enough, if the pain gets ahead of her or she has a larger stone etc. I have had meetings at the hospital concerning this and all they ever say is it's the DEA, the drs are afraid of losing their licenses but I found out that someone else went to the ER with pain but were not crying or anything and have no hx of pain issues and he treated their pain.
